I started training at 3 years old in a family system of blended martial arts and FMA under Grandmaster Tom Sipin in 1984.

 

In 1986, I started training in Doce Pares with Grandmaster Diony Canete. I began my training in Brazilian Ju-jitsu in 2006 under Henry Matamoro/Anthony Sell (Pedro Sauer Team) and under Benjamin Salas (Carlson Gracie Team) in 2013.

 

I have served as tournament coordinator/director for several Regional, National, and World tournaments. I also served as Midwest Regional Director numerous times. This will be my first term as GSBA USA National Co-Director.
